About the Photographer
Kenneth has a profound love for portraiture and a natural curiosity for meeting new people and hearing their stories. Born and raised in Queens, New York to immigrant Chinese parents, Kenneth graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with aspirations to become private banker for the Wu-Tang Clan. They didn’t return his calls and he instead began a five-year career in investment banking for JPMorgan. Wall Street lead him from New York to Hong Kong where he opened his first photography studio in 2008 and a photography school in 2011. He has since called Hong Kong his home, where he is a husband and father of two boys.
His dream retirement is to photograph a different person in his studio every day for the rest of his life.
